| lots of plum tomatoes | The ideal tool to make sun dried tomatoes is a food dehydrator. Slice plum tomatoes in thirds and place on dehydrator racks until dehydrated. If you don't have a dehydrator, place tomatoes on a cake cooling rack and place that on a cookie sheet. Put them in the oven at a low heat (150¡) for about 10 hours. You can put your tomatoes in jars and leave them or fill them with olive oil. |
